Who is Alive?
Hm, guess I should update this considering people are dumping me from their friends lists. Honestly, I do use this place. Just not to update. Should change that.

So, where to begin? Well, for 5 weeks I was trapped in the wilderness with my classmates. That whole experience really taught me that I literally cannot make friends anymore and that I should always just put my expectations so low to the ground that a nice word to me will seem like a good day. Honestly, I was so excited to go into Forestry, thinking I will meet likeminded people.

I did not.

But isn't that the way things go? It usually is. So, anyways, I have no friends and life goes on. Thank God for video games. Which, speaking of, that girl I tried to talk to on tumblr no longer follows me so I can go back to posting on there. Not that I think tumblr is anything great but it's nice to go and reblog video games pictures again.

I'm also getting into Samurai Warriors. I bought the game and all the DLC and am going through the mode where you get to be a character doing things. I keep moving hard to get Kenshin, honestly. Like I just want my grumpy monk, game! And I blame Pokemon for making me love him. I played Pokemon Conquest up at camp so my mind didn't explode and hnnnngh Kenshin. HE'S MY NEW BABY.

So, yeah. I guess that's it, really. I need to take a shower today and go to the doctor's to get my ear drained. Then come back and work on a project. Then back to school. *sigh*

Yay! You're still around. I was worried that you had abandoned LJ again, so I'm really glad to see you update. Hope I don't sound too stalkerish ._.

Making friends gets harder with age, but like you said, life goes on. But when you do make friends, they tend to be stronger bonds than the ones you would make in high school...so that's one upside, I suppose. Hopefully you are enjoying what you're doing at school though!

And wow. I had no idea that Pokemon included 15th century warlords into their universe. I guess that is a fun idea, come to think of it...

Ahaha I never abandon LJ. My livejournal page is open all the time on my browser. I just don't update because my life isn't that interesting unless I'm depressed.

And I literally just want a job at this point. I really dislike my classes.

So, in 2012 a game came out called Pokemon Conquest. It was a collaboration between the Koei company and Game Freak, who the director had always wanted to work with. This took the warlords of Samurai Warriors, gave them pokemon, and made them have this cute story about conquering a region to stop Nobunaga. It's just cute, really. I don't consider the warlords to be like their real life counterparts because they're all stylized on the Samurai Warriors ones (I doubt the real-life ones were as anime or fabulously dressed for real) so it's more like taking the characters of one game and giving them pokemon.

Which I encourage more because hnngnhghgn.

Well, I assume you're in school so you can find the job you actually want? At least you're not working a job that you don't see a future in, but stuck there anyway because of time/money/nowhere else to go like me, lol. What do you plan to do with Forestry?

So it was a crossover. I just thought they were trying to integrate more Japanese history/culture into the Pokemon world (while trying to avoid another cringeworthy calling-a-riceball-a-donut moment). Probably because it might sound cooler if you involve historical figures, giving it a certain sense of credibility in an otherwise fantasy world.

Aha, uh, I'm not in Forestry to get a job I actually want. My ideal job would be a scholar. I'm in it to make money because I have expensive habits. I see no future in it. But damn. *hugs* You need love right now more than me D: *hugs even more*

And nope. But ah yes, the famous donuts stuff. Oh, 90s anime. How you tried so hard to make it not be set in Japan.
